Yes i can but since 0.6.90 the package isn't enabling libburn plugins at
compile time because it depends of libburn >=0.4.0
I just added the --disable-libburnia to force that action. If you think it's
relevant i'll add it to changelog.

Right now Brasero 0.7 is close to be released it should be around xmas.
We start working on a patch to gnome-panel to use G-V-M default burning
application to replace the current CD/DVD Creator behavior which is
pulling N-B-C. Brasero 0.7 has lots of new features, bug fixes and

As an upstream co-maintainer i felt i should drop the 001 patch because it
makes no sense at least for ubuntu maybe for debian which supports older kernel
can make sense. The other i dropped are included in the source a while ago.

Try do a complete cd-rw blank sometimes it's needed to burn them. That
might be the problem since you can burn CD-R. Another hint is that you
could restart hal by sudo /etc/init.d/hal restart.
