I have 2 pc on the same comcast line. One gets on my home network and I
dont think I did anything to get there and the other one I have tried a
bunch of stuff and the usual message is" cant get share list from
server"

Hello Mr Arias
I have put the answers to each question at the end of the question. The
PC shuts down after 15 minutes or if I go to screen saver it locks up
instantly and PC shuts down. I have to hit control, alt ,delete and
completely start over.

Thank you for all the interest in this problem.My solution to this
problem now will be to load Ubuntu 10.10 on this PC soon. I purchased a
CD that I loaded on another PC and it loaded fine.

Thank you for responding. I like Ubuntu quite a lot.
So far these two items have happened every time. Last night when I was
on that PC and it went to sleep(after 15minutes inactive.) and would not
wake up with doing control, alt, delete. I finally hit F2 and got it
