I have the same problem with the Alpha 6 release running on VMware
Workstation 6.5.1
Nautilus continually crashes and relaunches. I have attached the
.xsession-errors file where the errors are recorded.

is continually launching nautilus.

Not a firewall issue. I can fix the timeout simply by granting
permission on the NFS server.
Here is a testing scenario.

Binary package hint: nfs-common
Hardy does not properly return Permission denied correctly when
attempting to mount NFS shares that are denied. Instead it hangs for 2
minutes as if the error was a connection timeout.
This error is hardy specific as gutsy properly returned P
