I'm on a Toshiba Satellite A135-S4727 and no matter what I do, I can't
even get anything to play out of the headphones! I've tried
model=toshiba, model=lenovo, auto, 3stack, 3stack-6ch... I know this
isn't related to this report, but did anyone else watching this bug have
that problem? I'm on Intel

While in a GNOME sessions (F7) and I try to switch to a TTY, my screen
turns black and it goes right back to the GNOME session. If I try to
switch to the TTY again soon after it had failed, it goes there no
problem. It should not switch back to GNOME after I switch to a TTY

The exact same thing happens to me. You can fix it by removing ~/.tilda
or running tilda with the -C option. Before I ran with -C and got
"Segmentation Fault", this is my stacktrace:

Reproduce it by going to System > Preferences > Keyboard. Add a new layout, and
attempt to change the default layout.

It is impossible to change the default keyboard layout in System >
Preferences > Keyboard. The radio buttons are locked. There is no Unlock
button. If you run the program as root, it edits the keyboard settings
for root. I am on Ubuntu 8.04.
