So far as I know the nouveau driver is the latest one (testing in raring
daily). The TNT2 does not seem to have any prop. drivers available for
it anymore.
I have attached my mixxx.cfg as I was unable to find a "WaveformType" to
change. Perhaps I can add it if I know which section to add it to.

There is a button to download the file and then use evince to read it.
Firefox reads to the end, but evince stops at page 61. When going to

least it did so in ubuntustudio 12.04. and jackdbus starts even if pulse
is currently streaming audio. Once this has happened, both jackdbus and
pulseaudio must be restarted before jackdbus starts normally. I
I have marked this as belonging to jackd2 but the problem may be with
Pulseaudio. It is in the interaction between the two.

On a machine with an unsuported video card, on ubuntustudios live dvd,
12.04 beta 2... march 25. There is a replacement text screen that shows
instead. This screen is stock ubuntu and should be rebranded to
ubuntustudio.
This problem only shows up on the live dvd boot. After
It looks like /etc/alternative/text.plymouth needs to be changed to have
the name ubuntustudio and maybe a different coloured background.

I have been testing the 12.04 iso about once a day and having tow freezes
is not that bad. it is certainly not consistent and repeatable.

I have Ubuntu Studio installed, grub shows Ubuntu as it's menu item
Thats ok because that is the only ubuntu on the drive. Older versions on
different partitions show up as the version number.
Now I install xubuntu. Grub now shows Ubuntu, Ubuntu and older versions.
Which ubuntu is studio and which
I did look and the partition name is there but not on the main screen.
With each partition I have to go and check if it is the one I want in
it's advanced menu. IMO, the partition should be in plain site. Again,
right now the main grub entry is sdb9. I boot sdb8 and update the

When opening konsole it is the right height but is always wider than my
screen. The default profile is 110 and even if I make a new profile
(80X40) it does the same thing. This appears to be a regression as my
first install of 21.10 did not have this issue.

size back on, I was able to get a konsole with the last set size, but
now opening another konsole with a different profile with a different

Someone who's main audio is PCI will want snd or better snd-* first,
while someone with a USB device will want that first and with firewire,
