directions) support for SMP systems. Currently only x86 and x86_64.

For those who commented on this bug: I've uploaded an autopackage with
the current SVN version to the upstream website[1]. Use that if you
can't (or do not want) compile from source.

Just open a terminal, make it executable and run:
$ chmod +x hardinfo(...).package
$ ./hardinfo(...).package
It should download some small dependencies and install normally. Don't
worry, you may uninstall everything later.

As suspected, this has been fixed upstream.
It may take a while to be packaged, so you might try compiling it
yourself (unfortunately I don't have a PowerPC machine handy to provide
an autopackage) from a Subversion snapshot.

Pascal, I've tried those boot parameters, but my laptop (Toshiba M45
S165) also cannot resume from suspend. No matter what parameter I use,
