It would be really nice to have 5.4 in this LTS.
5.4 bring significant performances (10 to 20%) and memory usage
enhancements (up to 43% less memory usage) .

failed.
ProblemType: Bug

Package: ubuntu-release-upgrader-core 1:0.192.13
ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.8.0-31.46-generic 3.8.13
I thought about it but wasn't sure because that ppa isn't setup on my
computer. Maybe I removed it without doing a ppa-purge, or maybe ppa-
purge didn't worked out properly when I did it (I can't remember when in
fact ...)
I am going to add back the ppa, update and ppa-purge. I'll report back
here
Did it:
- added back the ppa
- apt-get update & apt-get dist-upgrade
- ppa-purge
It is still not able to upgrade to Saucy.

Nope, it means "abandonned" but if you look closely you'll notice that
this bug is now handle directly on the linux kernel bug tracker with a
"Confirmed" status and a "hight" importance.
That just means that fixing that issue is not Ubuntu devs job but linux
