When resizing the details window during software download (not during
actual update when a terminal-like window is displayed), the inner list
of software being downloaded only resizes horizontally leaving an empty
space below the list.
It should obviously resize both ways.
Even without a UI, at least a first drop should support let's say a
directory with certificates. I agree that without this feature
implemented one way or another, this whole package is pointless.

kernel panic afte
This problem occurs much before I can type anything in a console... It's a
kernel panic, so not boot, at all even in "safe" mode.

It was really the problem of /run pointing to /var/run pointing to /run ...
The only thing I had to add compared to the solution described was to
create /run/lock/lvm directory. Cre

upgrade process itself even though my personal problem is now fixed.
