kvm (or qemu) emulates a Cirrus Logic GD 5446 graphics card. That's how
I ran into this: I was testing a Xubuntu ISO under kvm. I'll undo the
status change to invalid for now, and will test the current xubuntu ISO
for karmic to see if this still happens.

I seem to have this bug as well. Suspend started locking the screen when
I enabled the screensaver's locking. This is a change from jaunty, and

When I try to access those files, the ubuntu.nnov.ru web server gives me
a "Forbidden" result. This is not a problem with apt or update-manager,
but in the mirror's configuration. (It may have given a "Not Found"
result earlier, which is what I suspect it did, and why the errors you
