During installation, I set the keyboard layout to german (de:nodeadkeys)
and already noticed, that the installer also used the default mapping
(us). After reboot the keyboard layout is us.

This bug seems to have reappeared in latest natty. I cannot find any
other report related to this on lp though. I Upgraded from lucid via
maverick (where i didn't try this) to natty where it's now broken.

This bug still exists in lucid. When it occurs, you can manually fix it
once using hal-set-property, but on the next occasion it reoccurs of
course.
Could one of those familiar with the mount-process in hal please shed
some light on the issue? Especially it would help if you could give any
hint on
gmrun has a feature to execute a command in a terminal (press ctrl+enter
after entering the command). To accomplish that, it passes the command
and its argument as the argument list of the terminal. However most
contemporary terminal emulators require the user to prepend the commands
to be executed

thanks for your test. This is exactly what I did, when I tried gmrun
half a year ago. However it looks as if either it is fixed in a newer
version or I made some other mistake at the time. Which version did you
try?
