After the command in the terminal it didn't responsed so I opend rhythmbox and
search for 'cash' = the sortation was in correct order.
But still the terminal not finished so I pressed 'CTRL' + 'C'
After that, terminal was back noraml (blinking cursor) but the sortation has
changed back
No, Nautilus makes the same nonsense like the applet...
It shows two CDs, one with the data and one with the audio files (with
multimedia CD).
With an 'normal' audio CD is only one drive mounted.

After mounting a audio CD I have two symbols for the cd.
Today I wanted to eject the CD, click on the right hand symbol (icon for CD)
and... - nothing happenend!
Second click on the left symbol (CD + drive) to eject the CD but a popup-window
said 'not mounted'
Now I'm playing
So, today I report what happens when I insert a multimedia CD into my DVD drive:
As you can see on 'Bildschirmfoto5' the applet to mount and umount block
partitions shows me three (3!) drives (one icon CD in drive, two icons with
CDson it), in nautilus are there two (2) mounted CDs, one entitled
I reinstalled all openoffice packeages - same problem.
But I found a simple trick:
I open the info and move the pop-up window over all missing cells - et voilà,
all is right! ;-)
Or on long tables is the easiest to scroll down and up so they are here
(but only where IN the cells is something!)

Since the kernel update today I got the message
too many open files
in transmission.
The other updates didn't change anything whats for transmission important.
Maybe a problem of the kernel handling?

I have an LVM with ext3.
If this might be the problem I can give you the fstab.
ulimit -a is the same like the from Felipe!
At he command lsof -p 'pidof transmission' > /tmp/lsof.transmission I got the
file but the command "exits" not - is not going back to ~$.
So I can nothing say about the ser
And again, the wrong sortation is neither changed by formating the cells
as number nor as text!
Is it possible that OO makes this mistake cause of some cells have '2001/2002'
entered?
But this cells I don't mention!!!
Would it help if I attach the file?

After pausing all torrents (with 'pause all') to download with Fifefox I
restarted all torrents with 'start all'.
Now all of the torrents had status 'wait to verify files' and
transmission checked all files...

after updating some programs today I mentioned that the system monitor
is recessed/starts new(?) at the start of the installation process
(terminal window opens) and at the end (terminal window closes)

In my opinion it is irrelevant cause the 'Terminal window' opens at the
installation of the packages - whatever program I use.
But in this case I used 'synaptic' to update the packages.
