I can't stream flac-files with scandinavian characters that are being
transcoded to mp3.

narrowed down the problem to the following line in
/usr/share/ampache/www/lib/class/stream.class.php
$song_file = escapeshellarg($song->file);
Changing this to $song_file = $song->file; almost works, but not for
paths with spaces (which is most of them). Besides it would have been a
workaround at

Ok. the solution was pretty obvious, adding the line:
setlocale(LC_ALL,'fi_FI.utf8'); above the other one.
Could someone point me to the direction where this should be set
globally? Shouldn't it be set for me?

There might be a hidden bug in ubuntu's php / apache.
Shouldn't LC_ALL be set already??? Without any action on the users part. All
the other variables were set...
If it were ampache would have worked out of the box...

I get this too. I've got a two screen setup with separate X-servers with
mythtv running on the second one. The problem isn't constant for me. It
only comes up in the fourth video I watch. Mythtv uses xvmc and
mythvideo(mplayer) is set for xv. Once the problem starts it doesn't go
away until I rest

I can't restore or import a previously backed up bookmarks file. I did
the backup right before and removed all settings and then when I tried
to restore my bookmarks it didn't work. Nothing prints to CLI. This is
on up2date Hardy.

starts working as it should except for staying in the dock when I press
x.

I can't use partitions on md-devices for RAID, therefore I am unable to
create a RAID 0 on top of two RAID 1 devices. Is this by design? I can
however jump to the CLI and use mdadm from there.

After the updates this morning I don't get past the smallest little bar
of orange. The computer freezes and caps lock and scroll lock start
blinking. On recovery mode boot, this is what I get:

Here is how I deal with the problem:
When you start a new X-session, the first video you play must be played with
xv. Or everything will be "colorful". After that xv works all the time. xvmc in
mythtv doesn't quite work though. What I do is to start a new video in

I can confirm this. Same with Feisty Beta AMD64. Did a fresh install,
dist-upgraded from chroot before rebooting. I then enabled the Nvidia
driver in Restricted Driver Manager. Reboot and then when gdm started no
picture. Monitor light blinking indicating no signal. Attached dmesg and
Xorg.log. Mon
Mine crashed as well. I dropped a "Windows Mail" .eml file in the main
window. So that probably classifies as a import right. I'm sorry I don't
have more info. Maybe I'll "make" some later.

I have VERY similar issues. My new ZFS pool sis degraded after I tried
some torrenting. In the attached dmesg you can see I'm getting similar
errors. I'm running the 2.6.32-21-generic -kernel on amd64. I have two
drives attached to the Marvel controller on my board (ASUS P6T Deluxe).

Sorry for not updating. I don't remember anymore when this started
working for me, but it has for a while. I can confirm that it was
working on 12.04 at least. The output I used was optical out.
