I have a GeForce 6800 and the same problem. This also causes desktop-
effects to not install restricted drivers when needed.

restricted-manager reports "Your hardware does not need any restricted drivers."
Since the gnome partitioner does not report a free space at that position im
guessing that disks-admin is actually displaying a negativ free space using
a unsigned integer, but since there can't possibly be a negativ number of
free bytes on a harddrive i would say its a bug, and if nothing else it
It was the version that came with the dapper drake live cd

Here is screenshot about this problem.
I tested also turboprint printer driver and there wasn't any problems with
printing.
I'm using Feisty Fawn and my printer is Epson Stulys DX4850.

Here you are:
== System information ==
Ubuntu Release: 7.04 (feisty)
Architecture : i686
Kernel: 2.6.20-8-generic
Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8, LC_PAPER=en_US.UTF-8
/etc/papersize: a4
== Configured printers ==
Stylus-DX4800: Epson Stylus DX4800 - CUPS+Gutenprint
This Feisty installation is "clean" installation, but this problem was
also with upgrade installation from Edgy, so there shouldn't be much my
own configurations.
I tried also Epson own driver, but i couldn't get it work so i removed
it.
This tp0: Epson_StylusDX48x0 TurboPrint is Turboprint drive
I removed foomatic-db-gutenprint + all gutenprint stuff and compiled CVS
Gutenprint.
It was positive surprise that i managed to get it work after dependency
jungle, but now there is still 0.7-0.5 centimeter empty space :(
But we are going in good direction.
Do you have any more ideas how to fix
Maybe i should post also new printingbuginfo:

I tested newest cvs and problem is still there (shrinking output is now
there but it doesn't help).
Check out newest scanned print output, open picture in Gimp and you can
definitely see the problem.
I tested bordless on/off, but it doesn't change output.

But this downloads newest cvs whitch is working perfectly:
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvsroot/gimp-print co -P print
