I have a Compaq Presario CS502us laptop running Gutsy Gibbon, and can confirm I have no sound. I had working sound in the live cd prior to an install. Sound worked for a while and now it seems that the only way to have working sound is to power up the lappy on battery power, not AC (plugged in). I
