Yes, you are right, but this is because the bug was filed when
1ubuntu0.1 was the latest apache2.2-common version, and they fixed it
after updating to 1ubuntu0.2, so the rebuild of apache2-mpm-itk used

I recreated the bug with icedtea-gcjwebplugin 1.0-0ubuntu5. After
upgrading to 1.0-0ubuntu7, it didn't fix the issue at first (I got the
following error: libxul.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file

Rationale for my changes: Only using .readline as long as the subprocess
