around 2.6.16 or 2.6.17, when a new I/O scheduler was introduced (i
belive). I've tried with differend schedulers (AS, CFQ and deadline) and

a user takes advantage of the put plugin in compiz, it has no effect if
the program mentioned in the put plugin is started before compiz.

It's not caused soley by nvidia since he has intel drivers (
xserver-xorg-video-intel, Version: 2:2.4.1-1ubuntu10.3) and he's affected. also

I confirm this happens under fedora 10 aswell, with KDE 4.2.1 systray,
its not a skype only issue.

under fedora 10, as long as i have compiz active. It affects *all* icons in
