This was an install onto a new SSD harddrive as / with three partitions,
one for /, one for /boot, and one for a windows install. /tmp, /home,
and /swap are on another HDD.

Yes, it does still occur. But I found the issue was because Windows
Vista changed the setting on my HDD which ubuntu really did not like.
