I was only making a backup disk and it happened.
I know its a duplicate but this time I have ubuntu 10.2! It goes up by
seconds and never goes down.

That seemed to happen to me on Ubuntu 10.2. Like I wrote on Bug #808115
and it's NOT a duplicate because it never goes down.
