i82875_eac isn't loaded according to lsmod. Probably because this
computer runs on amd k7.
There might be some amd equivalent to i82875_eac that inteferes.
Just to reiterate: Dapper runs fglrx just fine. The problem is with

Blacklisting amd76x_edac solves my problem (two problems actually, since
the messages in my syslog which I reported as bug #55204 stems from EDAC

For me it was troublesome because per default I could no longer mount
the disk during runtime without doing it as root in the terminal. In my

Actually it uses Xephyr now (not sure why exactly) and it was this
variable which I could not figure out. I worked around this and made a
screenshot but because it is so late in the RC I will wait with this
change until an update.

The one pixel left border issue was a work around for a compiz bug. I am
not sure how this is negatively affecting your firefox window. I can
open and close the sidebar via the menu entry and nothing seems strange.
Are you using the default firefox settings or have you changed something
yourself?

As we do not ship any of the icon themes you mention I suggest reporting
this bug to the maintainer of the icon package itself as there is
nothing that we can do about this.

I see no reason not to ship it in Gutsy. Feisty included a default-look-
based theme with a face browser and it was well received so I say "go
for it".

Good eye :-) Because we do not have all of the vector data I had to
improvise on a few parts. The only other way to do it would be to redraw
all of them which would take way too much time.
