Just tested this. Cheese works, but only at resolution 160x120. I get
nothing in Skype. Anything I can do to help?

I have a similar problem with a Dell SP2208WFP webcam. Ekiga shows it
fine, but Cheese gives me either the test images or a gray screen.
In dmesg I have:

I have a similar problem. Dell SP2208WFP webcam. Works in Ekiga, doesn't
in Cheese. I get a gray screen. The program does seem to recognize the
device but I get no image, not even after a couple of minutes.

Following Psy[H[ suggestion, I removed the MSN address in Evolution and
the problem went away.

This seems to be fixed in 9.10. I get "Pentax PEF raw image" now. Very
good.

package mysql-server-5.5 5.5.22-0ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade:
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit
I have updated to 10.04 a while ago and the issue remains. The keyboard is not
recognised as such. General function does work. Volume up/down/mute also works.
F/Mode key does not.
Let me know if I can run some commands or tests for you. It might just be a
mapping or settings issue by now.
