Low graphics mode in Hybrid ATI/Intel GPU systems after fglrx upgrade
^Nick, I followed the steps in the workaround. Still experiencing the
same problem, unity won't load, and if try to start compiz it will fail
too. Also the workaround shows an AMD watermark in the lower right.

I followed the guide that said to install gnome-classic because of unity
now launching, and after running fgrxinfo i got this:

MacBookAir3,1 has pulsing pixelated vertical line down right side of
screen after suspend/resume

I'm experiencing this too on my Macbook Air 3,1
Installed 12.04.1 in both 32 and 64bit and have the same problem, using
noveau or nvidia-current.
also experiencing it in 12.10 beta (64 bit) , had to uninstall it
because I couldn't log in, the graphics went crazy.

This bug affects 12.04.1 both 32 and 64 bit , but only after running an
update with update manager, i couldn't pin point which one is the
package updated that creates this bug, since there's over 400 updates =(
installing the propietary nvidia driver will solve the problem, but then
brightness set
