I had the same problem - CUPS admin interface hangs in Modify Printer -
and after debugging and stracing I came across this bug report. The fix
seems to be to use a different browser, ie Chrome / Opera

integrated laptop cameras and USB cameras have a display name, which makes them
easy to select the correct camera.
This display name is replaced by a generic "Video Capture X" as of
