Python-couchdb shipped with Intrepid is not compatible with couhdb
shipped with Intrepid. Version shipped is 0.3 and the latest release is
0.5. Debian package for 0.5 is available in Debian Experimental

I can confirm this behaviour too. It seems to apply on images that are
downscaled either with CSS or the width and height attributes of img
tag.
I see this for example on http://guardian.co.uk frontpage and when I
zoom out with Ctrl+- almost on any page.
Mozillazine forums has a thread about the
Running kernel 2.6.37 rc 2 on Maverick the issue no longer exists. Seems
that the upstream has decided what to do. Could this now be pulled to
the 2.6.35 kernel of Maverick?

I took the liberty to remove the 'needs-upstream-testing' tag, as I'm
running 2.6.37-020637rc2-generic on Maverick and the problem still
persists.
