I might be a bit naive here, but couldn't you simply always lock the
screen on suspend in Unity is being run, and always respect the "lock
screen" option if a gnome-shell session is being run?
In all cases though, I agree that the screen should never be locked if
autologin is activated.

"true" by default, which causes removable medias to open a new nautilus
window when inserted. This might be the desired behaviour in Unity, but
it's wrong in gnome-shell because gnome-shell already displays

every 10 resumes. I'm not 100% sur it's the same bug as I don't have the
patience to wait 10 minutes to see if the resume is just very slow or

In gnome-shell's calendar, there is an "open calendar" button at the
bottom. If I click on it, nothing happens. In quantal, it used to open
Evolution's calendar in a new window, but not anymore.

If "blank screen" is activated in the power settings, as soon as the
screen is blanked it's impossible to unblank it: the screen stays black,
with the mouse cursor visible. You can even move the mouse cursor, but
the screen stays black.
However, running "DISPLAY=:0.0 gnome-sh
I just stumbled on this bug today in raring. So, I confirm that the bug
is still not fixed.

using the "low" profile, and the temperature is sitting at about 60°C.
It is, however, much less noisy

Is there any reason not to use GNOME's default monospace font
("monospace 11" is I'm not mistaken) as we do for other font settings?

Well, we already use Cantarell (GNOME's default) instead of Ubuntu font
for "normal' fonts, so it's only logical to use GNOME's default for
monospace too instead of Ubuntu's default. I'm not sure which font is
GNOME's default though, and I just assumed it was "monospace 11".
