If anyone is still having problems with ie4linux, what worked for me
using Intrepid, was a hint earlier in the thread, on the executable, ie
edit this file
/.ies4linux/bin/ie6
remove anything with '| debug', and also the authors website address (just put
in a fast loading one of your own'.
IE

well, i feel a bit stupid now. After changing the default dirfrom home,
to /home/user/music its fine.
I suppose we could ask how it ended up with the home folder, which will
give permissions issues

I get exactly the same problem. Running Feisty, up to date as of 20th
March 2007.
using full ubuntu Nvidia drivers with nvidia Geforce 6600 PCI-E running
32 bit feisty but its actually a 64 bit amd pc.

Yes, in lucid with this device modeswitch seems to work. There is
another problem where it doesnt appear to be using correct dns but thats
another issues

I have noticed the same issue with mouse movements causing high cpu
usage (100% on two occasions_) locking out the kvm
this is an important issue to resolve as it can quite easily render your
KVM useless I actually completely lose ability to ssh in to virtual
machine at this point.
