now about mouse buttons as reported by xev | grep -i button:
mouse has 9 buttons:
1 - LMB
2 - MMB (scroll whell click)
3 - RMB
4 - wheel up
5 - wheel down
8 - 1st thumb button (backward in windows)
9 - 2nd thumb button (forward in windows)
as I mentioned earlier - event for 6 and 7 ARE NOT PRODUC
also this bug exists on jaunty alpha 4 32 bit... same behaviour as in
intrepid.

To me my bug is a little different from mentioned above. That problem was mouse
tilt wheel is not working properly, while mine bug is that tilt function of
wheel is not detected.
Also I have some more information concerning my bug:

Ubuntu Natty Desktop 32bit 11.04 - bug still exists and reproducable the same
way.
The problem is in Logitech USB wireless reciever initialization code as far as
I can understand now.
