I am having this issue in unity 5.10 and ubuntu 12.04 beta 2. It is
fully updated as of 4/15/12. The pixel column is off by 1 with the
window maxed out and shows the background. It does this with all windows
that are maximized.

The cheese application is loaded either from the terminal or from the
unity launcher. The cheese application loads however there is no
picture, no video, or burst picture. The camera's light is on for my
webcam but all I get on the display in the cheese application is a black
I also have the same problem with any of my applications that use the
webcam.
