As a workaround, you can add the option acpi_sleep=nonvs to your kernel
commands in grub, as per the intructions in the cite

KDM themes are "installed" but not saved in the usual
/usr/share/kde4/apps/kdm/themes/
so they don't show up in the theme selection screen in system settings.

I am experiencing the same problem in a new kubuntu 24.10 installation.
Apparently, the problem stems from the fact that the kaccounts-
integration version packaged for 24.10 is the one for plasma 5, but the
KDE version shipped in 24.10 is Plasma 6. At least in my machine, kcm-
shell does not list
