I'm trying to install a mod for Minecraft. I open up the minecraft jar
(which is a renamed zip file), open the mod's zip file, "Ctrl+A" all the
files then drag them from the one window to the other window. No files
get added to the minecraft jar though.

When I was running Kubuntu I ended up writing a xorg.conf to arrange the
monitors which I've attached. You don't put it in /etc/X11/xorg.conf it
goes in /usr/share/xorg.d/ or something like that.

I installed linux-image-3.2.0-4-generic as part of upgrades yesterday
and decided to try it. My laptop went for 8 hours without experiencing a
kernel panic so for the time being I'd say the problem is solved.

If I open up Dolphin and click "Network" in the sidebar, then "Samba
Shares" in the folder view, then "Workgroup", dolphin tries to find

That's not really a solution to the problem Pascal. It's no matter, my
parents were having many issues with Ubuntu which I had I reported, but
the bug reports but ended being ignored. So I just gave up and put
windows 7 on it.

What I did was download the source code straight from the writer's
website and compiled it. It worked just fine so whatever patched the

I tried running Chip's Challenege (download here:
http://www.freewebs.com/chipshome/chips.html), there was no output to
the console but the screen did go blank. This did not happen before
upgrading to wine-1.1.42, I have wine-1.2 on my desktop running Gentoo
and this problem does not occur.
