I have quite a lot of external USB-drives connected to my headless
karmic server and every boot there's a couple of drives that hasn't
finished spinning up when mountall tries to mount their filesystems.

one to use.
Most of the keys works with keymap and reports the "right" key. Keys that don't
report anything is:

It is quite some time since this bug was raised and new version is out
of at least amarok. I use amarok 2.1.1 on Jaunty and do not have this
problem. My collection is also on an NFS share.

I have just tried to replicate your scenario and do get a bit of
different result. Below is what I get when opening a VOB file. I have
not tried and SUB file.
Select new and add a SUB file that contains some subtitles. Press OK
button. In the next dialog box I press preview and the program crashes

Same for me. But the sync fails thereafter.
An error message pops up and tells me that the sync failed. In the
details it seems everything went fine though. After the failed sync, new
notes show up in the UbuntuOne web-interface, old ones (that where there
already when I enabled syncing) not. It a
time everything concerning the WLAN did work fine.
But it does not seem to be the kernel alone, since booting with older
kernel releases did not resolve the issue. I tried both, 2.6.31-14 and
2.6.31-15.
