Neither 'store password for all users' nor 'save password for all users'
in found as an option in the VPN settings. There is 'Make available to
other users' on the Details tab. Is that what you mean?

system update. Now, connecting to a PPTP VPN using Network Manager
fails with the following in /var/log/syslog

I was running a VirtualBox guest of Ubuntu 14.04 without issue when I
decided to upgrade to 14.10. The upgrade process completed fine, but
upon reboot the system hangs at the boot splash screen. Disabling the

Ingo, that process works for the resume, but the issue persists (for me)
at the next cold boot.
