When I open any of the settings or options windows, there's no text in
the options menus. This affects ALL settings dialogs. I can't change
anything or work with any documents because of this.
To fix, I purged all LO files, then reinstalled from Software Center. I

It looks like it has been a persistent problem following upgrades, but
it may affect users who have certain configs, such as GNOME fallback or
shell, installed. In my case I had both of those and had been using them
widely before and just after the upgrade. I fixed it by committing to a
full, fresh

Maybe it is a problem of 64 bit. I am running 32-bit now, after the
fresh install, but I don't know whether I was running 64-bit before.
