Have you tried creating your own style and selecting that? (using the
Styles and formatting box (press key F11))
Unless anyone else has any more advise they can give I can only suggest
you try the forums again
I'm using 9.10 (installed from alpha but updated daily) and I have
noticed the same. I'm using the standard gnome install.
