I too have the same problem. After a couple of days mouse clicks stop
working while the mouse pointer continues to respond. The keyboard
works fine. Unplugging/re-plugging the mouse has no effect. Attached

Note, I am using the Logitech USB mouse. The Microsoft Wireless mouse
is not in use (not batteries in it).

Not invalid...I have experienced this bug multiple times. Incomplete

OK, just had the problem occur again. Absolutely no diff in dmesg or
Xorg.0.log. Can still navigate with the keyboard. xmodmap and xev show
nothing funky (xev does not receive mouse events). It appears no app
knows anything about the mouse (pointer does not change over window
edges/firefox link

OK, all base files are attached now. I can't think of a reason to
attach the diff files that say "identical," so I won't.
The problem occurs without any changes to dmesg or Xorg.0.log.
