Public bug reported:
Had to install chromium which works fine. Firefox worked fine before the
2 updates on April 4, 2020. Maybe coincidence. I don't know. Linux Mint
Tricia. Bionic.
Linux Mint 19.3 Cinnamon 4.4.8
Linux Kernel 5.3.0-46-generic
System:Host: kathy-Parrot Kernel: 5.3.0-46-generi
Have not tried downgrading to libgd2. I'd prefer to try to uninstall
firefox, clean out cache, and reinstall. Think this is worth try? I'm
new to linux.

Firefox just hangs with dot moving back and forth in front of the tab.
After a while, I think it tells me it cannot connect. apt log follows:
Log started: 2020-04-02 07:27:48
(Reading database ... 257677 files and directories currently installed.)

It turns out if I turn off the umatrix extension, firefox works again.
So must be conflict between umatrix and libgd3. Chromium works fine with
all the extensions I have installed. But yes. I have to turn off umatrix
extension to use firefox under libgd3. Thanks!
