When using my transcend Jetflash V60 4GB usb stick, it would never mount
the drive, although it showed recognised it, icon appeared on Desktop
etc.
When I clicked on it to open (mount) it, the system said error , cannot mount

When copy and pasting in a 2 column pdf in evince, it selects both
columns of text & pastes it in a mish mash.
It is minor but if there is a way to get copy to stick within columns
that would be handy.

Notification balloon apears on far right border of desktop, even on a
dual screen setup.
I use a Toshiba Protege M700, and at home have a benq 22" monitor which
I configure to display to the right of the laptipps screen. In this
set-
note, I recompiled the kernel to provide support for my Wireless
broadband modem, but this behaviour existed before that.

Yep, I also find this of medium annoyance, these are the little things that put
people off ubuntu.
Probably not very glamorous to fix, but i am not a programmer either.

Its a pity these little bugs aren't fixed, sot the application works "out of
the box" as it should.
They build up and then you spend all your time trawling for workarounds and
patches.
