Probably this package should be moved to the original uploaders PPA (see
https://help.launchpad.net/Packaging/PPA for explanation), as it seems
clearly unsuitable for the universe repo.

Binary package hint: update-manager
The three lines that start all update descriptions are: "Changes for the
versions" followed by two, unexplained, version strings. It would be
much better to simply add the words: "Installed" and "New" before the
respective version strings.
This bug was *created* from a question; making another one is just a
duplicate. I'm not sure what "the software didn't change" means -- this
bug is showing (maybe) that there is a problem with the current version
of the software which causes it to break after a while. It doesn't

Investigating further, I see that most of the images seem to have
problems. I've now looked through all but 6; I'll do the rest tomorrow.
