I originally thought this had something to do with xine because having amarok
or kaffeine loaded seemed to expediate the crash, apparently that was just
chance for about 50 crashes I've had. Or somehow it did relate, I don't know
any more. I also thought it had something to do with the screensav

Set kde's monitor and display power saving to 2 mins.
Set the screensaver to any screensaver you wish, set to 1 min blank, 1
sec lock (not sure if this is required).

I stand corrected, it does seem to be a problem with genisoimage.
I took an image I created on Linux to windows, I could mount the image
as a virtual disc just like I could loopback on Linux, however when I
burned the .iso it junked another DVD.
So I created an .iso using nero, and burned it fin
Well my lack of knowledge on the differences between +RW and +R keep me
from doing much more fact gathering on this.
loopback mounting and +RW work +R doesn't: That makes me think the ISO
genisoimage made _must_ be good, and growisofs must be having problems
with burning it.

good DVD+R for the first time in weeks.

I just wrote a script for /etc/pm/sleep.d that will run gsynaptics-init
for all users with an X session running, so it won't matter if you're
running multiple X sessions :), everyone can have their own settings,

on my Karmic/64 partition which also has the problem as well as Jaunty.

This happens to me all the time, the fix for me is to kill firefox and
restart it. It doesn't seem to be anything to do with the site or page.
I can fail on a pic, kill firefox, start it and let it use crash
recovery to open all the pages it had open before, then save the same
picture it failed on
