I have linux-firmware 1.5 on Jaunty and I am still getting frequent
kernel panics related to iwlagn. They usually happen within minutes of
booting and only happen when the kill switch is off.

Yes. My machine (Jaunty updated 30 minutes ago) locks up a few minutes
after booting if the kill switch is not on. If I instantly rmmod iwlagn
then I can use it for days without lockup. So this is certainly a

I just started getting hit by possibly this bug. I have an Intel 5100
AGN. Only when I am using that device do I get kernel panics. It
always happens when I put the network under high load. This is
happening on intrepid and jaunty (with proposed enabled). I've had to
switch back to a PCMCIA 80

With an updated Jaunty this is kinda working for me now. Sometimes the
device doesn't show up (no /dev/ttyUSB*). But when it does show up it
usually takes a few tries for it to connect (my PCMCIA 3G card always
connects first try). So this is not perfect yet, but improving!
