I burnt a 7.0 gbyte .iso with brasero (selecting the correct option) on a
verbatim DVD+R DL and the result is a dvd not recognized at all by ubuntu nor

I can confirm this issue.
After installation of proprietary drivers, nvidia-settings icon is rightly
listed under System -> Administration menu. But after first restart (in order
to activate drivers), and on every subsequent boot, the icon is missing.
I think it's not related to bug #522943, n

ubuntu-mono uses gtk-dialog-authentication-panel.svg status icons from
humanity and humanity dark, which seem to be a bit inconsistent with the
other icons in this package. See attached screenshots, and note selected
icon with Ambiance theme.
