I did a clean install with 7.10 x64 and 7.10 x64 server and I get random lockups
seemingly random full system lock up from clean installs of 7.10 desktop and

I deleted the pidgin file that list all my contacts and deleted my log files
just to be safe on my laptop and it stopped crashing.
pidgin started to crash on my desktop and I just removed the contract file and
it stopped crashing.
I update my laptop at the same time as my desktop.

I have a WinTV-D ( BT878 based ) NTSC/ATSC tuner.
which works, just NTSC OTA/Cable and not the ATSC part, with KnoppMyth.
