When encoding a video in avidemux, an animated icon is placed in the
system tray. After the encoding is finished, that icon will stay there
and another one will be added for the next video you encode. The icons
disappear as soon as you close avid

Oh, this happens in the gtk version of avidemux. Using the kde4 panel if
it makes a difference. I wasn't aware of the qt version of avidemux and
have switched to it. I'll report if the same thing happens.

exception instead of the proper KeyError.

easyid3.py module raises ValueError instead of KeyError

Here's a patch that seems to fix it for your affected file. I don't know
if my tiny patch will cause other problems with the program, as I've
never used this program before.
The problem seems to be that the TCON tag of that mp3 file is
represented as completely blank by mutagen.id3 (i.e. []) where
My temporary workaround is to run this in a shell when suspending:
while :; do pkill -9 ksysguardd; sleep .1; done
Just remember to stop the above code after resuming from suspend. I'm
going to play around with writing a script to kill it on suspend
automatically, I'll come back and post the resul
