I'm using the Interpid Ibex kernel version 2.27-7 on my macbook v3.1 and the
keyboard is functionally.
By using: apt-update, apt-upgrade the kernel updates to 2.27-9 and then there
are no funcionally keyboard, there is no keyboard.

I'm now experiencing this problem after installing updates this morning.
I'm booting the old 2.6.20-13-generic, X didn't load at first, had to
change the driver in the xorg.conf back to nv from nvidia in order to
get X to load at all. Everything was working perfectly until this
morning's update.

I tried to install 10.04 beta 2 64 bit as VMware guest under 9.10 64 bit as
host.
I tried two times and each time I was stopped by a login request in CLI mode.
This problem did not happen with alpha 3 and beta 1.

I had to reinstall Lucid alpha 3 64 bit after installing virtualbox-ose -
3.1.4-dfsg-2ubuntu1 to solve a problem of mouse integration.
This Lucid 3 64-bit run as guest under Vbox with karmic 64-bit as host. All
systems are daily updated.

I installed guest additions by clicking on VirtualBox menu and this led to
an installation in the guest.
After installing virtualbox-ose-guest-x11 the mouse integration is working.

Sorry for the initial bug report: with CTRL-ALT-F1 I thought I opened a CLI
session in the guest. It was in fact in the host !
But the problem remains the same: I cannot enter the guest. This is funny:
alpha 3 was not working with VirtualBox, but was OK with VMware. With bêta 1
it's the opposite

I checked the iso file. No pb (it is the one I used to install Lucid
notebook on my eeePC).
After displaying "Ubuntu" with fives dots below, the installation stops and
... lights up the indicator telling there is a memory stick ! (the vaio has
a memory stick reader, unused in my case).

I went back to 9.10 on the vaio VGN.
With some last updates, in addition to the screen size problem, I got the
ksoftirqd problem that appears on several laptops : you cannot get access to
the system, this process "eats" all processor and you cannot do anything on
the system
Sorry, I'm kinda new to Linux.. well, been using it for about a year but
yeah.

Had a lot of problems when updating from 9.10 to 10.04A2, with most of
the packages not upgrading due to broken dependaces. Once fixed the main
ones for Xorg, I managed to boot in via the GUI, where I recived this
