Dear devs,
When I add this attached picture in database, Digikam crash. I have
22000 pictaures in my database, it is the only one which produce this
behaviour. It seems have nothing special.
I add I saw this bug for many revisions of Digikam.

But these ones work fine:

There are multiple cause to this bug.
However, patch in attachement may for bug described by Dan Parslow.
It is result of a bisect between a working kernel 3.14 and a non working
kernel 3.17.

I made some investigations:
In some cases system work correctly until it reboot. Applying this patch
http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.linux.kernel.mmc/28281 help in this case.
I also find that opening eMMC ith O_SYNC (or mounting partition with "sync"
flag) improve results.

For information, I have an Atom E3845 and I observe same problem.
This issue may be related to erratas:

You can compile dmalloc with
./configure ac_cv_func_vsnprintf=no ac_cv_func_vprintf=no
if you don't want to patch source.
Anyway, it's an upstream bug.

It seems i have same problem with my "MacBookPro5,5". Nevertheless, i
found arecord works if i force stereo recording (using "-c 2"). I tried
to force stereo recording using .asoundrc but I haven't knowledge to do
this.

I have MacBookPro5,5 and I cannot get internal or external microphone
works (at least in a usual way).
