@Ken Sharp, the bug was not fixed in 2.50b1. I am currently running one
of the latest builds of Transmission (transmission/sid uptodate 2.52-3)
on Debian Unstable and the issue is still there.

However, the bug is all platform and is not architecture dependent. As I
have written, the bug exists in Ubuntu 10.10 (x86_64) (default
packages), Ubuntu 11.04 (x86_64) (default packages), Ubuntu 11.04
(x86_64) (packages from LibreOffice stable PP

Hi, Charles, sorry for being too vague. At the time I was writing this
report I didn't look at the code, I just switched between few pre-
installed Ubuntu themes and watched highlighted paused torrents in
Transmission active window.
Now I realize that I've made a wrong guess about hardcoded foregr

OK maybe It's a dumb idea, but you can calculate the difference between
foreground and background color and change inherited foreground color if
difference meets certain conditions. :)

Xsane fails to start on my up to date Lucid x86_64. I run latest
proprietary Nvidia driver and two video cards with three displays
connected. Every other program runs fine.
