IBM R40e Ubuntu 8.10 Screen brightness is low no matter what I try. The
Fn Home and end have no effect. In fact, none of the keyboard controls
for sound or video work. Tried using radeontool to switch light on - it
has an effect but all or nothing and still dim when on. Putting the
