After a fresh reboot (machine was down for a few hours), I restarted
again and checked the option "-ProfileManager". At this time, it worked
successfully.
Since it happened after the last update performed, maybe some shared

I just followed these steps:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:shiba89/vaio-kernel
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install linux-headers-generic sony-laptop-dkms
Perhaps you need to have DKMS environment working properly. Is your
DKMS compiling properly? You need to run:
sudo apt-get install d
I can't see such outputs since my system just hangs, but it was working
before in 12.04. I tried all updated kernels: 3.5.0-17-generic,
3.5.0-21-generic and 3.5.0-21-lowlatency. None of them worked.

After a little debug, I could find that seFds[i] is tried to initialize
improperly, leading to core dumps.

Hi @dbungert,
Sadly the company decided to move out from pulse secure usage, so I
can't help anymore with tests. But I can give some insights.
The main issue is that AVAHI_DAEMON_DETECT_LOCAL set as 0 isn't avoiding
avahi to change routes. It shouldn't happen.
