I created this binding in the System > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts
menu, to launch firefox browser, with + + W. But most of
the time it responds very slowly, and sometimes doesn't respond at all.

When using the mouse to navigate through PDFs, it works great. But PgUp
and PgDn sometimes doesn't work at all for some PDFs.
The PDF causing the problem was attached.

I also had this problem. Here is my condition:
1. Ubuntu 9.04;
2. Try to follow the instruction here:
http://www.thinkwiki.org/wiki/How_to_configure_the_TrackPoint
3. Followed the Gnome set up routine.
4. Installed configure-trackpoint;
However, when I try to run it, it reports the error:

I am using evolution mail to manage four email accounts via IMAP. The
folder tree view is cluttered a lot. In outlook there is a "favorite
folder" section on the top of the folder section to eliminate this
issue. Is there any similar solution in

Well, I disagree with #2.
I use Tomboy heavily, and I so often open a document via the Link in the tomboy
note.
Then, without the folder window open, I am viewing the document.
Thus, it saves me a lot of time by sending it directly from the menu.
Plus, this is a feature Adobe Reader offers.

I had similar problem on my thinkpad X300. Volume control button leads
to volume control icon appear but volume is actually not changed.
I fixed by doing:
1. Set up the right keyboard shortcut by going to System=>Preferences=>Keyboard
