The new version of fuse-zip seems to require libzip version 0.11.2 which
is not yet available in Trusty Tahir (14.04) release.
The new version of libzip is available in Utopic (14.10):

The specific regressions I am seeing are:
After switching monitors, windows can't be moved to a different workspace until
they are un-maximised.
Also, windows that were not-maximised before the new monitor was plugged in,
end up spanning multiple workspaces.
