"internet.ventelo.no" to get a usable connection.
If not provided, the connection is still established successfully and an IP is

Some of our workstations have a problem with switches that take a while before
the link is up (span-tree), which makes the nis client start before the
interface is completely up even if you set nis to start at S99 in rc2.d. A
simple solution is to add the following file to /etc/network/if-up.d

When using the launcher in Unity (Natty beta 2), the launcher will not
produce an error message if the executable is not found, e.g. when I
tried to start inkscape and inkscape was not installed, nothing
happened. This confuses the user.
